The Naughty Puppy Diandian
Diandian was a very naughty little spotted puppy. His parents loved him deeply and never let him do any hard work. Because of this, he grew up lazy and mischievous.
One day, feeling bored at home, Diandian secretly ran outside to play. He skipped along a mountain path surrounded by tall trees and green grass. Flowers bloomed everywhere, making nature lively and beautiful.
He happily wagged his fluffy tail, rolled on the grass, chased butterflies, and ran after dragonflies.
Soon, he arrived at the rabbits’ house. A white rabbit and a gray rabbit were playing a game. Diandian watched but felt too shy to join.
“Come play with us!” the white rabbit called.
Excited, Diandian joined them. At first, everyone had fun.
But after a while, Diandian got bored.
Then the white rabbit caught him and shouted happily, “I caught you!”
Diandian refused to admit it.
“I wasn’t caught. I just stood there because I didn’t want to play anymore!”
The white rabbit got angry.
“You’re cheating! We don’t want to play with you anymore!”
“Fine, I don’t care!” Diandian said and walked away proudly.
As he walked, he became upset and thought of revenge.
He hid nearby and suddenly shouted:
“A wolf is coming! Run!”
The rabbits were terrified and rushed back to their homes, trembling.
Diandian laughed loudly. He thought this prank was even more fun.
He continued teasing other animals—goats, chickens, pigs—until no one felt safe anymore.
Gradually, something changed.
No one wanted to play with him anymore.
No one even talked to him.
Animals avoided him like prey avoiding a predator.
Diandian became lonely.
One day, his mother asked gently,
“Why don’t you play with your friends anymore?”
Diandian burst into tears and told her everything.
His mother said,
“If you know you were wrong, you should be brave enough to admit it and apologize.”
The next day, Diandian went to each friend and said sorry.
The animals smiled and said,
“Knowing your mistakes and fixing them makes you a good child.”
From then on, Diandian became kind and honest.
He made friends again.
And once more, the forest was filled with laughter and joy.
